Prayers Please!

Well, we found out later that the day after we left camping, our friends Pete & Angie's 1 year old Bodie fell into the fire pit. Apparently there was hot coals from smoking a roast, he stumbled near the edge of the pit and fell, catching himself with his hands. He recieved deep 3rd degree burns on his hands and arms. This was 7/11/09. On Wendnesday 7/22/09 he was moved to Wichita, KS from St. Paul, MN. The family live just outside of Wichita, so this arrangement works out for them better.
Here is the link to read updates on him:

Also prayers for our friends Kristi and her family. She and her husband have 2 kids. Their home was struck by a tornado while we were camping, so 7/9/09 (I think). They still do not know what is happening with their house - but for now they are in an apartment until they recieve a word on what will happen next.

Another great camping trip!

Here is a pic of our great friends, Pete & Angie. He is from Devil's Lake and she is from KS, they live in KS but were up to visit. She is not a picture person and will kill me if she sees her picture. She is pregant with baby #6, due in October. This one is a surprise, but after 5 boys, I am thinking pink!

This is Taylor and Bodie. He is 4 months younger than Taylor, but outweighs her by about 5 lbs.
Look at those chubby cheeks!

This is Alex and her BFF Jack. She even proposed to him and he said, "Sure."
They are 7 weeks apart, so we have many pics of them together since birth.

I thought this was a good pic of Taylor Grace drinking some water.

This I find gross and disturbing. As someone who hates feet, yuck! The girls entertained themselves on the way to Devil's Lake by putting their feet in their mouth.

How did that happen?!

For 2 weeks, I have not kept track of what I put in my mouth. At first it seemed odd after 11 weeks of tracking everything. Last week I maintained my weight of 162.4 lbs. This week we went camping and I drank all the beer I took, plus one of my husband's. Most were red beers too with spicy v8 (YUM!). I ate what I wanted, when I wanted. I had fried walleye thanks to the boys fishing efforts. I bought and ate almost a box of chocolate, chocolate chip cookies - and some peanut butter chocolate ice cream. I did not exercise this week at all. I stepped on the scale this morning at 6:30 - first time in 12 weeks I was not up at 5:30 on a Monday. I lost 0.8 of a pound! I honestly do not know how that happened. Oh well, I will take it! I weigh less now than I did when I got PG with either girl - so if I can just get knocked up, I will surely avoid that dreaded 200 mark even while PG..... I hope!

Random posting

I was just looking in our walk-in closet (off the toy-room), to find a pair of size 16 bramuda shorts I promised to take my sis when we visit. While looking, I found several shirts and several shorts and capris that fit. I am amazed that they are a size 10-13 (yes, I hung on to a few junior sized clothes!). I also found two different shirts that I bought to wear for the 4th of July parade last year. I may wear one again this year (if your promise not to notice), instead of the grey one that I bought this year. So, there it is - totally random that I now and wearing a 10-12 instead of the 14-16 I was last summer. With the grace of God, I will get pregnant soon and need those "other" boxes with the stretchy waists. :o)
